“Suspiria,” takes places in Germany. It follows a young women named Suzy (played by Jessica Harper) aspiring to be a ballet student, and it just so happens that one of the finest ballet schools has accepted her request. On her way to the ballet school she sees another women running away from the same direction in the middle of the night, in the pouring rain. The girl who was played by Eva Axen, later to become announced dead. As time goes on Suzy begins to realize how secluded the staff are from the students, especially since they were all living in the same school. Suzy becomes ill and oddly enough she starts to hears scratching noises coming from inside the walls of her room. When she tries to explain how she feels uneasy to the staff and her only friend Sara (played by Stefania Casini) each of them tell her that she must just be stressed out because of the whole moving to Germany for ballet school. Then all of the sudden more and more ballet students start randomly end up dead. Suzy is left for herself to find out if this is a paranormal event or is there a killer, could they be Satanists? With a gory brightly colorful film such as “Suspiria,” this is definitely an Italian horror film you have got to see!
