The Conjuring

“The Conjuring,” is about a family that moves to a farm in Rhode Island and takes place in the early 1970’s. The Perron’s had a family of five girls; Andrea, Nancy, Christine, Cindy and April as well as Carolyn and Roger Perron. As soon as they move in the whole family notices changes in the temperature of the house, Carolyn notices strange bruises occurring on her body, Mackenzie starts sleepwalking again, and there is a strange cellar which they were never told was part of the house, discovered accidentally by the sisters when they were playing around. It isn’t until Roger leaves for work that the presence of something unknown makes themselves more powerful, and that’s when they call in Ed and Lorraine Warren (played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga). Ed and Lorraine Warren are professional ghost researchers, therefore the Perron’s think that they will be able to banish whatever presence there is out of their house, but when Ed and Lorraine get there it is much worse than they would have ever had thought. Will they be able to help this family from being tormented, locked in rooms, and attacked by this malevolent spirit? Or will they all suffer or even die by the hand of this awful curse?……
